Christine Rex serves as IPI’s Director of Communications, advising on the Institute’s public relations and media engagement in advancement of our mission to contribute to theory, scholarship, and strategy to catalyze model, modern, and nonpartisan political change in America.
Her professional career has spanned across the U.S. and international markets of government, nonprofit, and corporate communications, where she’s worked on critical public policy issues including technology & consumer empowerment, energy & environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and more. Most recently prior to IPI, Rex advised on brand growth and management to global marketing departments, public relations to Silicon Valley, and press engagement to the U.S. Congress.
Rex has a master’s degree in communications & journalism from the University of Southern California after earning her Bachelor of Science from the University of Kansas. Originally from Colorado, she resides in the DC area with her son, French bulldog, and goldfish who all enjoy life near the water.
